|Reporting to the GM of Operations, you will primarily provide the leadership, direction and operational improvement strategies necessary for the manufacturing and distribution operations. To achieve the site’s KPI’s and deliver the agreed profit contribution, you will be accountable for:|
- Safety principles around zero harm
- The development of annual business plans that meet the requirements of the Company’s strategic objectives and operational KPI’s
- Driving rigorous operational performance and improvement in areas of Safety, Operations, Environment, Financial and Supply Chain.
- Identifying and managing risk around human resources employed and asset maintenance and management.
|This role is located in the heart of the wine-growing Marlborough region. It is one of the sunniest areas in New Zealand. Mountains frame the area and trap the summer heat (temperatures over 30°C are quite normal in February and March).|
|Tertiary qualified, with significant timber industry, manufacturing and operations management experience, you are commercially astute, and understand operational excellence and how to drive continuous improvement. Highly effective as a leader you are able to motivate, develop and optimise performance. With a safety-first approach, you are pragmatic, decisive and capable of building strong multi-stakeholder relationships and delivering effective outcomes. |
