Based in Kwinana, where the company has a state-of-the-art steel cord conveyor belt manufacturing facility, you will have responsibility for taking a proactive approach to ensuring the materials, processes and finished products meet client, company and regulatory requirements in the most cost effective manner. Equally important in this role is to ensure work carried out in the manufacturing plant is performed in a manner that the safety of others and environmental impact is a priority.
Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering, you are experienced in rubber or plastics manufacturing; identifying the root cause of problems using quality improvement processes; and montioring processes to ensure quality of product being manufactured. Your technical knowledge complements your strong understanding of a range of quality standards and models. In addition, your calm yet persuasive approach enables you to identify and confidently address daily issues. Above all, you are a ‘people’ person with strong communication and influencing skills, a ‘can do’ attitude, results orientation and a genuine passion for quality.
