Responsible for executing the business plan in relation to growth and business development, you will not only lead a dedicated team of BDMs spread across Australia, but also drive the business in its marketing and customer service capability whilst personally managing major customer accounts and delivering major bids. As part of your role in achieving the business strategy, you will focus on continuous improvement and optimum customer satisfaction through ongoing data analysis of the business’ performance and ensuring optimal margin and spend with each customer is also achieved.
With strong networks in retail and FMCG sectors that require refrigerated freight and warehousing, you have significant relevant supply chain/transport operations/logistics experience with an exceptional track record of managing, mentoring and leading an effective national sales team. Commercially astute, results-oriented and strategic, you are able to influence and negotiate at senior levels to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes. Your ability to identify and capitalise on opportunities complements your proactive solutions oriented approach.
