Administration Manager

An information powerhouse, this major industry association is an influential voice for its members providing high level industry specific training and consulting, extensive professional and management advice, as well as a broad range of other services. It also acts as a powerful advocate across all levels of government and other major forums and provides representation through a vast range of relevant industry councils, committees and bodies.

Reporting to the CEO, your mandate is to take responsibility for the overall management of the finances of the organisation, including cost centre management; Secretariat administration, contract and purchasing, building and office maintenance, IT, training and delivery, and the accounting and administration staff.

With relevant accounting/bookkeeping tertiary qualifications, you have extensive administration/office management, process development and review, executive support and staff supervision experience. Ideally this has been gained in an industry association or equivalent advocacy organisation. With highly developed organisational, administrative and communication skills, you are adept at managing multiple tasks, competing priorities and meeting deadlines. Your attention to detail is strong, as is your level of work accuracy.

This is a key role and forms part of the Executive Management Team. It is broad, fast-paced and dynamic, providing an exciting challenge along with a sound negotiable package.
